Ben Scholz is a drummer/percussionist who lives and works in Chicago, Illinois. A native of Portland Oregon, Ben began playing classical piano and percussion at age 8 and continued his studies after graduating from UNT.
Living in Chicago has given him the opportunity to work with jazz innovators such as Roy Hargrove, Esperanza Spalding, Francois Moutin, Bill Watrous, Oz Noy, and Aaron Neville.
